Caves Connect is back this August with a renewed spring in its step — and we’re inviting local business owners, operators, and community leaders to come together for an inspiring evening of conversation, collaboration, and connection.
This event is proudly hosted at Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows, who have generously come on board as sponsor — covering free venue hire, canapés, and a welcome drink on arrival.
We’re calling the event “Spring Forward Caves” — a theme designed to shake off the winter blues and reignite momentum as we head into the warmer months.
Work Experience Connections Launch
A key moment on the night will be the launch of Caves Connect Work Experience Connections — an initiative in partnership with Swansea High School aimed at helping local businesses support Year 10 students through real-world work placements. The program fosters early career inspiration, encourages skills transfer, and strengthens community ties.

Supporting Local: Caves Coastal’s Festival Returns
As part of the partnership with Caves Coastal, the event will also preview the upcoming Beer, Food & Wine Festival scheduled for Sunday 28 September. Now in its second year, this growing community festival is fast becoming a highlight of the local calendar.

In the spirit of connection, we’re inviting business owners to share a quick 2-minute story about their own work experience days and how those early moments shaped the way they run their businesses today. These lighthearted reflections help break the ice and inspire new conversations.
