Spring Forward Caves Connect:

A Night of Community, Collaboration and Connection.

Coming Together.

Last night, the Caves Connect community came together at Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows for our Spring Forward networking event. The evening was filled with energy, conversation and collaboration — a reminder of what can be achieved when local businesses gather in support of one another.

Thanks to Our Sponsor

A special thank you goes to Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows, who generously sponsored the night by providing the Nautilus Room, canapés, and drinks on arrival. Their support ensured the event was both welcoming and vibrant. Even more exciting, they’ve expressed interest in sponsoring future events, a reflection of their commitment to fostering local business connections. We’re also looking forward to their upcoming Beer, Food & Wine Festival on Sunday 28 September, which promises to be a highlight for the region.

Swansea High Leading the Way

We were honoured to hear from Swansea High Principal Andrew Pesle, who spoke passionately about the importance of creating real-world opportunities for students. The launch of the Work Experience Connections program was a milestone moment, and it was fantastic to see the strong interest already from businesses willing to host students. If you haven’t yet, you can register to be part of this initiative via the online form.

Local Talent on Display

Guests were treated to amazing aerial artworks by Peter Harrison, which captured the beauty of our local coastline and community from a new perspective.
Credit also goes to Jacob, Swansea High’s talented work experience student, who was behind the camera on the night, capturing the video highlights you’ll find below.

Voices from the Community

One of the most inspiring aspects of the evening was hearing directly from business owners who were brave enough to get up and share their stories. These personal reflections reminded us that connection and collaboration come from real conversations, not just business cards.
