Caves Beach Connect is thrilled to announce its recognition as a finalist for the prestigious Lake Mac Community Event of the Year Award. This accolade is part of the 2024 Lake Mac Awards, an initiative by Lake Macquarie City Council to honour the quiet achievers and unsung heroes who embody the spirit of Lake Macquarie and inspire positive change across the city.
The Lake Mac Awards are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and community spirit that underpin the various initiatives and events in the region. Being named a finalist is not only an honour for Caves Beach Connect but also a reflection of the collective efforts of all those involved in making our events and platform a success.
Caves Beach Connect has always been about fostering a strong sense of community, supporting local businesses, and providing a platform for networking and collaboration. Our events are designed to bring people together, celebrate local achievements, and provide valuable resources and opportunities for growth. Being recognised as a finalist for the Lake Mac Community Event of the Year Award is a validation of our mission and the impact we have on our community.
The winners of the 2024 Lake Mac Awards will be announced at a formal gala event on March 22, 2024, at Belmont 16s. We are honoured to be in the running alongside other outstanding nominees such as the Morisset Lake Macquarie Show, Tiny Forest Community Planting, Spicy Brain (Allambi Care), and the Lake Macquarie & Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network.
