Caves Connect is returning this spring for an evening of coffee, conversation and fresh ideas at Ocean Soul Espresso.

This relaxed local event will bring together business owners, community members and Swansea High School to explore how small actions can create a positive ripple throughout the wider Caves Beach community.
About the Evening
Ocean Soul Espresso has shown how thoughtful presentation, creativity and care can transform a local space.
The evening will build on that idea by inviting guests to consider what small improvements could strengthen their own businesses and the wider shopping precinct.
Guests will hear short local perspectives, enjoy relaxed networking and contribute to our Ripple Board by answering two simple questions:
- What small change could improve your own business or shopfront?
- What shared idea could improve our local precinct?
This is about constructive ideas, shared pride and creating positive momentum together.
Swansea High Work Experience Connections
The evening will also officially launch the 2026 Swansea High Work Experience Connections program.
The initiative connects Year 10 students with local businesses that can provide meaningful workplace experience, industry insight and encouragement.
In 2025, 117 students participated with support from around 20 new local employers. The program helped create 13 further opportunities including:
- Two apprenticeships
- Five part-time jobs
- Five additional work experience opportunities
- One school-based apprenticeship and traineeship
Local businesses interested in hosting a student will be able to learn more, ask questions and register their interest on the night.
